Former Medics of Aggieland is the alumni network for everyone who served with TAMECT, the Texas A&M Emergency Care Team, TAMU EMS, or TAMU Rec Sports Medics. We're rebuilding the roster, planning a reunion, and putting the history somewhere it won't get lost.

Not yetOur story
TAMECT — the Texas A&M Emergency Care Team — began in 1976 with five students and a closet of basic life support gear. TAMU EMS grew out of its ambulance service, and TAMU Rec Sports Medics grew alongside it, covering Recreational Sports events. Between them, generations of students learned emergency medicine by doing it: carrying a radio, taking the calls that came in, and growing up fast.
We're collecting that history properly — names, years, photos, and the details only the people who were there can supply. Read more, or add your name and tell us what you remember.
